Steamboat Days will be held Sept 8-10 in downtown Carver. Visit the Steamboat Days website (link on city website) for all the details.

How can we get this event cancelled? Its a joke and a glaring reminder of the hillbilly town that this is.

That's funny because all my friends from the city come out for Steamboat Days, have a great time and complain about how their big time cities don't have any great community building events like Steamboat days. They don't think of it as hillbilly...
My theory is that there is some Redneck in all of us and Steamboat days touches that little peice of Redneck hiding way down inside you that you aren't comfortable with.
I agree, maybe you should move to Uptown so you can be sure to have an art fair in your neighborhood instead of a good time.
Carver Resident (and proud of Steamboat Days)
PS- I never thanked anyone for putting on Steamboat Days this year, so here goes, "THANK YOU to everyone for all your hard work. GREAT JOB!"

WOW I love this stuff! Hey Hillbilly Town Residents. I think I speak for the entire Steamboat Days comittee on this. We all are involved with this event because we have alot of fun doing it.
p.s. I am not hard to find "Downtown" I would love to buy you a beverage of your choice sometime.
